Fox Chase Cancer Center
& Laurel Society at Fox Chase Cancer Center

Each opening night feels like the very first one for the artist, because each one showcases new participants, usually from the geographical area in which the exhibit is showing.  The exhibit is all about the participants jagged journeys of emotion, pain, support, love and hope.

Visions of Hope could not exist without each participant who shares their heartfelt journey in the hopes it will inspire others.  Since the participants have never viewed their paintings nor have they read the artist's summary of their journey before the opening, they are nervous and excited with anticipation.  They are all seeing the creation of their journey for the first time along with the public.  The night is full of wonderment and honor for them.

Visions of Hope was partnered that evening with a panel of specialists who shared vital information in latest surgery techniques, medical therapies and updated research data to the attendees of the event.

The evening was an amazing success due to the wonderful development team that consisted of Karrie, Helen, Jeffrey, Trish and others.  Thank you Fox Chase Cancer Center for hosting Visions of Hope and giving the participants a place to shine and inspire.
Fox Chase Laurel Society

This exhibit was also viewed at the Laurel Society function on June 22, 2017 which took place on the lower level of the Women's Cancer Center.  Several members voiced their appreciation of the participants' wishes to share such raw emotions to the public.  It gave them such admiration of the mettle one goes through a cancer journey.
