Opening Reception March 3, 2017

Each participant gave so much of themselves during their interview with me. We came to the interview as strangers and left having a bond so strong.  Going through a cancer journey is an arduous experience that most wonder, why me? I had someone say, why not me?

The opening reception was full of  amazing, emotional, happy, and bittersweet feelings.  It was wonderful to reunite with all these beautiful strong women and men. The participants viewed the artwork which I created from their journeys and eyes.  They hugged, they cried, they felt grateful to be able to give hope to others going through their cancer journey.
